Zephyr Two-Tone Zipper Denim Tote, #6

Zephyr Two-Tone Zipper Denim Tote, #6_
Dimensions_ 14 1/2" x 14 1/2"
Features_ record bag-sized tote bag, two-tone front, exposed metal zipper along subtly concealed front pocket, hidden top seams, box stitch on handles, bare interior.
Material_ Double dyed black on navy blue denim fabric and gold finished metal zipper.
Misc. note_ Eyes gravitate toward darker hues in the fall season, so I gave my dark denim fabric a little dip into a tub of black dye. An everyday bag, it's not gaudy but it doesn't hide. Shamelessly bearing the fabric tape of its regal gold metal zipper, clean lines, and double-stitched durability, this tote is more than just a shopper's bag or records holder. This bag does not discriminate gender, this is the go-to bag for anyone with a darkened heart.

The Denim Takeover Buttonholes Shoulder Bag, #5

The Denim Takeover Buttonhole Shoulder Bag, #5_
Dimensions_ 8" x 10" x 1 1/2"
Features_ Machine sewn black on denim buttonholes pattern on front flap and front body, concealed buttoned front flap adorned with remnants of recycled denim, zipper front, satin interior.
Material_ Recycled denim exterior and strap, satin polyester blend interior.
Duration_ 2 days
Misc. note_ My moment of epiphany came after mindlessly staring at some graph sheets piled atop some old school assignments. This is identical to #4, except I took an extra step and decided to machine stitch a graph pattern on the front flap and body of the light stone denim. Machine sewn buttonholes pattern reflects my odd love for the stitch. I also had to somehow celebrate having a foot designed to make buttonholes. Great weekend bag. You will not stop staring at this bag.
If interested, please e-mail me at rikanurrahmah@gmail.com.

However, I will still accept personal inquiries. Just send me an e-mail.

The Denim Takeover Wallet.

The Denim Takeover Wallet_

Features_ two pockets for cards and cash, zipper-closed change pocket, snap front flap, collage detail on front and back
Material_ Recycled denim exterior, cotton b/w buffalo checkers interior
Duration_ 1 day, minimum break

Wallets are one of the most difficult items to make by hand. Before you put it together you really have to plan out how everything's going to be arranged: whether you want to install snaps, zippers, and/or additional pockets, and in what order you're going to put all this together.

Between me and my sewing machine, nothing gives me an near aneurysm like putting together a wallet. This one in particular was hell in its truest form. I had to go through two machine needles and a bleeding index finger, but I guess the end product made it all worth it. This wallet was made for my personal use. I got smart and made patterns in case anyone out there is interested in buying a wallet of this type. Due to the nature of the production's demands, I'm not going to be selling these on the cheap.

E-mail if interested and we'll talk. Otherwise, the next post will include two completed zipper pouches and more details on the concept of this collection.
