I learned to design and sew clothes back in high school, when my religious mom would throw away clothes she thought were inappropriate - and that was basically 60% of my closet. Tearing apart and reconstructing old clothes to keep up with my constantly changing style was the only way to make up for the diminishing wardrobe on little to no budget.

Years later, I'm better at sewing and am agnostic. So in a weird way, I have to thank my mom for everything you see on this blog. She still throws away my clothes _rn
